Featured Workshops: Habits of a Tech-Healthy Home and The Ministry of the Local Church
At the Open House, you’ll hear our vision, meet instructors, preview upcoming courses, and discern next steps for involvement. Our third training track, The Art of Disciple-Making will also be shared briefly.
Habits of a Tech-Healthy Home (Wes Crawford): This session is part of our Spiritual Friendship & Biblical Counseling track. It is designed to equip disciples, parents, and caregivers to walk with families in a technology-saturated world with biblical wisdom and pastoral care. We live in an increasingly technological age. While this age may be new to man, it is not new to God! The wisdom He has provided in His Word speaks to the ever-changing landscape of technology. “Habits of a Tech-Healthy Home” equips families with practical guidance to shepherd their children well through the numerous challenges that technology presents. These habits are rooted in scripture and will help families engage in our technological world with wisdom and discernment.
The Ministry of the Local Church (Ross Shannon): This session is part of our CPR (Church Planting & Revitalization) track. This two-year program grounds future church planters, pastors, and leaders in what the Bible teaches about the local church—her nature, leadership, mission, and worship. Together, we’ll explore the marks of a healthy church, biblical governance and leadership, membership and discipline, and how the gospel shapes worship and ministry. This course is foundational for anyone seeking to strengthen existing churches or plant new ones with biblical clarity and long-term faithfulness.
