Rob met Rhinda, his wife and partner in ministry while at Baptist Bible College. They initiated their ministry together in a campus ministry at a small liberal arts college in Scranton, Pennsylvania while Rob finished a Master of Divinity at Baptist Bible Seminary. After seminary, the Lord led their young family to serve for a year in a new church plant in Jerusalem, Israel. This experience led them to serve as career missionaries in Slovakia in church planting and leadership training in the region. From there, Rob joined the ministry of Horizon Education Network in the summer of 2005 where he continues to serve in the educational development of Horizon’s global seminary partners and as the coordinator of partnerships in the regions of Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Rob’s ministry passion is for the enabling of the church to fulfill Christ’s mission in the world which has led him to engage in church-based teaching ministry in the US and abroad for over 30 years.

Shortly after joining Horizon, the Lord opened the door for Rob to complete a PhD program at Michigan State University (MSU). He taught for 7 years in MSU’s fully-online Masters of Education program and then transitioned to Cornerstone University where he has continued to teach for the past 11 years both face-to-face and online. In addition, Rob has been engaged in professional development training for international seminary leaders across Horizon’s network for the past 14 years.
