Ross Shannon

Ross Shannon has served as a pastor at First Baptist Church of Lapeer, Michigan, since 2011. A native of Massachusetts, Ross earned his Bachelor’s degree in Bible from Northland Baptist Bible College in Wisconsin and later completed his M.Div. at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Ross also interned at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. in 2008 and served at Kenwood Baptist Church during seminary.

Ross and his wife have been married for 16 years and are raising six children. He counts it his greatest joy and privilege to pastor and grow with the local church, helping believers deepen their love for God’s Word and apply it faithfully in every area of life.
